Comrades,

My social media feed is filled with pictures of our VFW posts getting out in their communities by attending events like county fairs, resource events, parades and many other exciting things. I am encouraged by your drive to get involved and supporting fellow veterans. You are an example of what the VFW is all about, showing up for our veterans while providing mentorship, advocacy and community.

Camp Trotter has wrapped up a successful season of summer camp for our kids. I'm excited to see you all at the Camp Trotter Family Day August 19 to get filled-in on everything our kids learned this year. Also, don't forget to schedule our Fall Conference in your calendars! We will be meeting in Flint, Michigan September 29-October 1. The conference will be a time of community and training, with resources available for any questions you have. Thank you all for your continued service to our veterans, you are truly leading from the front.
